Karmit Epstein

Speech-Language Pathologist

Karmit Epstein has 16 years of experience working with toddlers, school-aged children, teens, and adults. She has worked in multiple settings; including hospitals, long term care facilities, clinics, public and private schools, pediatric rehabilitation centers, and in homes. Her areas of focus include: articulation, fluency, motor speech, voice, cognitive communication, acquired language disorders (aphasia), and motor speech disorders (apraxia and dysarthria). Karmit provides services in English and Hebrew.

 

Karmit  holds a Master of Health Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree specializing in Psychology and Physiology from the University of Toronto. She participated in research studies at University of Health Network and has been a guest lecturer in the speech-language pathology department at the University of Toronto.

 

Karmit loves traveling, hiking and camping. In her spare time, she likes to paint, play guitar and jump on the trampoline with her family. As a Speech Language-Pathologist, Karmit is passionate about helping people communicate in a clear, concise way that creates connection.
